My Favorite Robot Vacuum Is Less Than $400 for Black Friday

They say good things come in small packages, and the Switchbot K10+ Pro is proof of that. I review a lot of robot vacuum/mop combos and they are always over $1000. Which is what makes the K10+ Pro so unusual. To be clear, it is only a vacuum, not a mop, but that should not deter you. It’s better as a vacuum than most, and it’s on sale for $399.99, down from $599.99

This bot is tiny, and that works in the K10’s favor. Because of the small footprint, it fits into smaller spaces, able to make a smaller radius around chair and table legs, and under low-profile furniture. It’s like a little M&M running around the house. Despite its diminutive size, it still leaves vacuum tracks on the floor, which I love: It makes the room feel freshly cleaned.  It rarely requires intervention for clogged rollers or getting stuck.

Second, this under $400 robot comes with a self-emptying tower. I’ve become so spoiled that I can’t be expected to empty a vacuum anymore. Change a bag every few months and that’s all you need. The tower and the vacuum are delightfully quiet, and the tower has a small footprint to match the robot. It tucks into small spaces spectacularly well.

You might not think of Switchbot as a vacuum brand, but you should. I love everything about Switchbot from their chonky, shiny little white robots to the cleanliness of their app. Switchbot integrates with every assistant, and is as painless an experience as you can get. You ask the robot to vacuum, and it just does.

While this vacuum can tackle an entire house with no problem (I gave one to my next-door neighbors for their 1400 sq foot home, and they won't stop talking about it), it's also small and cheap enough for a dedicated space that a main robot can't reach due to a floor threshold or stairs. It would be a killer office robot—making it a great gift idea, too.
